HR 1207 - Audit the Federal Reserve

The fun She-Mullets can’t last forever on my blog. Here is a bill we can all get behind: H.R. 1207 to give the Comptroller General the right to audit the Federal Reserve. I personally feel we should abolish the Federal Reserve and go back to coining money as it was outlined in the constitution. You have to start somewhere and this bill is moving in the right direction.

So my personal opinion, I know you are all dying to know, is the media and government flash shiny issues in our face like gay marriage, AIG bonuses, corporate vacations, and carbon taxes to keep us distracted but more importantly divided. While we argue and protest about these issues the government is taking our freedom away from us and in the near future we may not have the right to voice our opinions about any of these issues.

What does all this have to do with the Federal Reserve? Everything, he who controls the money controls the power. While Congress is the only government body with the right to coin money that right has been turned over to the Federal Reserve, whom the government can’t even audit with out written permission from the Federal Reserve board, to date the Federal Reserve has never been audited. Do you want to know who owns the Federal Reserve? Well that is an entirely different post so you will have to use the power of Google if you care to find out.

So here is some info on the bill and I suggest you email your representatives and ask them to support it. You can do that here: http://www.congress.org/congressorg/issues/bills/?billtype=H.R.&billnumb=1207&congress=111 If you are wondering how smart these people really are then watch the video.
