HR 2454 American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009 or as we all know it “Cap and Trade.”This is up for vote this week and should be stopped. Straight out of the bill is the following text.
Provides for: (1) issuing, trading, banking, retiring, and verifying renewable electricity credits; and (2) prescribing standards to define and measure electricity savings from energy efficiency and energy conservation measures.
This is such a load of crap. You and I are going to get yet another tax put on us while Wall Street big wigs get rich trading the credits.
