??? Random

Well blog world…have you missed me? It has been a whole week since I did an update. That is a long time for my crazy blog. My life has taken a couple of turns that I am not ready to talk about on here yet but for the first time in what seems like forever things are finally looking like they might be getting under control. (This is nothing major – just a few little tweaks.)

Today I bring you a scripture that I really like.

“'Therefore, fear not, little flock; do good; let earth and hell combine against you, for if ye are built upon my rock, they cannot prevail' (D&C 6:34, 36)

Also a couple weeks ago Boyd K. Packard spoke at our Stake Conference and while what he said was not all that comforting he did say “Faith and fear don’t mix.” I like that…there are so many things in this world that we have no control over and being afraid of what you can’t control is nothing more than a waste of energy. So go out into the world, find something good to do (I gave some kid $5.00 at the mall yesterday for gas, yes he might have been scamming me but that is his problem to deal with), and have faith that even though you will have trials they will not be more then you can handle and that they will make you a stronger and better person.

Updates to look forward too…what I learned at Once a Month Cooking Class.
